Applied Engineering now offers an Unlimited Training Package. For a one-time flat fee, an engineer can attend any of the selected training classes offered by Applied Engineering at any of our four training centers.

The Unlimited Training Package offers:

  • Unlimited training classes for each person for 12 months
  • Advanced training classes at no extra cost
  • Easier budgeting and approvals
  • Flexible scheduling
  • The ability to take or re-take training classes as needed to ensure comprehensive learning

The Unlimited Training Package costs $4,995 per person. With the Unlimited Package, you can attend any of the courses listed below.

AutoCAD Fundamentals Part 1

This class focuses on how to create a basic 2D drawing in the AutoCAD software. Even at this fundamental level, the AutoCAD software is one of the most sophisticated computer applications that you are likely to encounter.

Autodesk Inventor Introduction to Solid Modeling

This class provides you with an understanding of the parametric design philosophy through a hands-on, practice-intensive curriculum. You will learn the key skills and knowledge needed to design models using Autodesk Inventor, starting with conceptual sketching, through to solid modeling, assembly design, and drawing production.

Autodesk Inventor Advanced Assembly Modeling

This class focuses on the Top-Down Design workflow. You will learn how tools are used to achieve this workflow using Derive, Multi-Body Design, and Layouts. Other topics include model simplification tools, Positional and Level of Detail Representations, iMates and iAssemblies, Frame Generator, Design Accelerator, and file management and duplication techniques. A chapter has also been included about the Autodesk Inventor Studio to teach you how to render, produce, and animate realistic images.

Autodesk Inventor Advanced Part Modeling

This class covers various approaches to part design, including Multi-Body Design, Advanced Lofts, Advanced Sweeps, Coils, Generative Shape Design, Surface Modeling, and Freeform Modeling. The guide also covers some miscellaneous drawing tools such as custom sketches symbols, working with title blocks and borders, and documenting iParts.

Autodesk Inventor Sheet Metal Design

This class introduces the concepts and techniques of sheet metal modeling with the Autodesk Inventor software. The structure of the training follows the typical stages of using the Autodesk Inventor software to create and edit sheet metal parts, generate flat patterns, and document the designs in drawings.

Autodesk Vault Basic Essentials

This class introduces Autodesk Vault Basic to end users and CAD administrators. Autodesk Vault Basic is the foundation module of the data management solution from Autodesk, enabling users to consolidate and organize all product information securely for easy reference, sharing, and re-use purposes. The training focuses on capabilities for managing design files and related documentation. There are hands-on exercises that are included to reinforce how to manage the design workflow process using Autodesk Vault Basic.

Autodesk Vault Professional Essentials

This class focuses on the features of Autodesk Vault Professional pertaining to BOMs and ECOs. There are hands-on exercises that are included to reinforce usage of items, BOMs, ECOs, and automated workflows. You are also provided with information about using the Autodesk Vault Professional software with the AutoCAD Civil 3D software, the Autodesk Revit software, Thin Client, Active Directory, Autodesk Buzzsaw (Project Sync), and Replication solutions.

AutoCAD Electrical Fundamentals

This class covers the indispensable core topics for working with the AutoCAD Electrical software. You will learn how to use many of the powerful electrical drawing creation tools by creating schematic drawings (ladder logic and power to point), panel drawings, the PLC-I/O circuits using automated commands for symbol insertion, component tagging, wire numbering, and drawing modification. In addition, you are introduced to methods of customizing AutoCAD Electrical symbols circuits, and databases.
