Applied Engineering, Inc. is accepting applications for a Paint Process Engineer. This role is responsible for providing consulting services to Applied’s customers in the areas of paint process redesign, paint formulation, textures, durability, appearance, color matching, substrate preparation, spray techniques, paint PPE, and system layout/capacity. This role will also be responsible for providing a variety of other manufacturing engineering consulting duties as requested by customers.

Paint Process Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
- 5 years minimum experience working with paint manufacturing processes
- Experience working in a factory/manufacturing facility
- CAD experience, or the ability and willingness to learn CAD software
- Ability to lead a project and manage a diverse project team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Desire to work on a variety of projects
