The PLC Programmer role will involve developing high quality industrial machine control systems. This role may involve working individually or with a team to perform control systems design, PLC programming, BOM creation, and Schematic layout and design. PLC Programmers at Applied may also work on documentation, assist with prototype or production builds, prepare cost analysis and project schedules, present or demonstrate designs to customers, and work with suppliers or other Applied partners.

- Education in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred but not required
- Experience programming PLC on one or more industry standard platforms
- 2+ years of experience in industrial control systems design
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, components, and schematics
- Experience with control systems development and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently/self-directed and as a member of a team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Desire to work on a variety of projects
